Recognition
The programs of the Centre are recognized through the Training Accreditation Council (TAC), which is the appropriate government authority in Western Australia and operates in the training sector.
The relevant government policy, the Australian Quality Training Framework, ensures that ACAS can:
- open offices in other Australian states,
- make its programs available to other similarly registered institutions, and
- gain automatic recognition for its qualifications across Australia.
The Centre's recognition includes authorization to offer recognized postsecondary qualifications up to the end of the first year of graduate study in a wide range of subjects.
Australian government allowances (Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy) are available to eligible full-time Australian students.
Applicants should check with Centrelink regarding their eligibility. No two students have the same circumstances, and Centrelink has a variety of different student allowances.
