Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation

The Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation gives students the skills to independently participate and to guide of instruct outdoor recreation activities. It also enables students to improve their skills in non-activity areas.
The Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation requires 21 to 40 of the following units of competency:

- Analyse participation patterns in specific markets of the leisure and recreation industry SRXINU003A
- Promote compliance with laws and legal principles SRXINU004A
- Conduct projects SRXOGN001A
- Implement and monitor the organisation’s Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs SRXOHS002B
- Undertake risk analysis of activities SRXRIK001A
Choose either the activity or the general stream.
- If the activity stream is chosen, then student must do two areas of specialization, one which must be an activity specialization.
- If the general stream is chosen, then the student must do two areas of specialization, both of which must be general specializations.
